Sept. 30, Oct. 3: Suwanee Sports Academy will be holding registration
days for the Suwanee Basketball League on Sept. 30 from 7:30 .am. to 1
p.m. and Oct. 3 from 5 to 9 p.m. Boys in grades 3 to 12 and Girls in

Through September: The 11-year-old Georgia Hawks girls basketball team
(born 1995 or later) is looking for players willing to learn, excel and

Through September: The elite basketball strength and conditioning
clinic, designed and instructed by a former NBA trainer, runs through
September at the Wellness Performance Institute in Suwanee. It's for
both male and female players grades 8 to 12, runs from 7:30 to 8:30

Budweiser with proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children's Hospital will be

flexibility, core training, shoulder strengthening are part of the
clinic, which meets from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays.

offering sports performance training programs for male and female

Through September: Separate year-round general conditioning programs
for athletes and non-athletes is now available at select outdoor
locations in the Lawrenceville, Suwanee, Buford and Dacula areas.
Sessions range from one to two hours. Program elements are designed to
challenge and improve strength, endurance, power, flexibility, fat
loss, agility and injury prevention. For more specific sport or
need-based applications, individual sessions are also available. For
