MILLS EX: 'GIVE HER NOTHING'

HEATHER MILLS doesn't deserve to get a single penny of Paul McCartney's fortune, says her first husband.

Alfie Karmal believes she should pay the former Beatle for 1 everything she has taken from I the marriage.

He said: "I don't think anybody deserves to lose hundreds of millions of pounds.

"I don't agree with divorce laws. Somebody who has made a significant amount of money from his own talents should not have to pay out huge sums just because a couple were once married.

"It should be based on contribution - what you take out, you should have put in. If she took out of the marriage what she put in, she would walk out with minus a million bucks."

Speaking for the first time since the McCartneys' marriage broke down, he called her the "runaway bride", claiming she repeatedly left him when he caught her lying.

He added: "I used to think she had a permanent pair of sneakers on under her shoes. She always ran away.

"You get to a point where you start to hate her and hate the way she is."

Karmal, who issued a warning to McCartney when he began dating Mills, is not surprised the marriage ended bitterly.

He said: "We have both been Heathered. If there is anything I have in common with Sir Paul, it's probably that.

"Our marriage lasted just under two years - we had been together five years on and off. But she ran off lots of times."

The 48-year-old businessman met Mills, 38, when she was working as a waitress in 1989.

He said she walked out after falling for a ski instructor on holiday in Slovenia.
