Best Bet, March 1

Get wild with the Party Animals 2006 event at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Clarion Town House hotel, 1615 Gervais St.

The benefit for the Animal Mission will feature Hootie and the Blowfish, Celebration Gospel Ensemble and Patrick Davis. A silent auction also will be held.

Tickets are $75 per person. No tickets will be sold at the door, but they are available at any South Carolina Bank and Trust location in Columbia and Orangeburg, at The Columbia Animal Shelter and at the Clarion Town House hotel.
