NEW YORK — Yung Joc said his debut LP, New Joc City, is doing so well, he might drop a second album before 2006 is over. And Warner Music executives are all for it.

"[Warner Music Executive Vice President] Kevin Liles

wants a Christmas release for real," Joc said. "It's crazy. You never know what could happen. Setting the pace is key. You can last longer if you set the pace."

Block, CEO of Block Entertainment, said Joc has already started on the album.

"Him and Snoop just did a crazy [song]," he said. Block's label has a partnership with Bad Boy and a distribution deal with Warner.

With two hit songs, Joc raised the bar for new artists this year. He's planning a video for his third single, "1st Time," featuring Marques Houston. Although Houston sings the hook, Joc and Block say they want to feature other artists lip-syncing the chorus in the video.

"We gonna do it like how Biggie did 'One More Chance,' " Block said. "We're gonna get, like, all the teen sensations — Omarion, Ne-Yo — and let them sing the hook."

Joc just inked a deal for his own imprint called Hustlenomics, and on October 3, he's putting out a behind-the-scenes DVD called "The Jocumentary."

"People only hear the hit records ... but they don't know what it takes to get there, Joc said. "It's been a helluva grind for me."

Block's planning to release his first album on the label soon — but don't expect to hear any rapping from him.

"I'm doing my album called Feed the Hungry," he said. "I'm going to different cities, get some hot records from local artists and put bigger names on the records to help springboard their careers. I'm coming to a 'hood near you."

Block also said to look for a new Boyz N Da Hood album in February (they just added a new member by the name of Zo), and he just signed an all-female group called Southern Girls.
