*Just weeks after Nas threw a surprise party for his wife Kelis at New York club Double Seven, the singer returned the gesture and shocked her husband with a party at NYC’s Canal Room Wednesday night to celebrate his 33rd birthday. According to allhiphop.com, the theme of the bash was “old school hip hop,” as photos of the Fat Boys, Eric B & Rakim, Michael Jackson and others lined the walls and guests wore Cazals, fat laces, jean suits, gold "dookie" ropes. Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick headlined the bash, which included DJ Premier, D-Nice, Grand Master Dee of Whodini, Kelis, Kanye West, Dana Dane, The Awesome Two, Questlove of The Roots, The Lox, Chill Will, the Bravehearts, Chamillionaire, Kwame, Jim Jones, DMC, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Nick Cannon, Floetry's Marcia Ambrosius and DJ Goldfinger on the turntables.

*Rapper C-Miller, formerly known as C-Murder until he was tried and convicted of murder, will drop a new CD/DVD combo entitled “The TRUest S*** I Ever Said” on Oct. 17.  The package includes five new tracks, a 60-minute documentary hosted by B.G., exclusive interviews and never-before-seen videos.

*Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Sean Paul, Cassidy and Chris Brown and others are scheduled to perform on the peace single "One Day" to be produced by Swizz Beatz in conjunction with the International Peace Concert, which will air live from the Coliseum in Rome, Italy on December 9th. Eve, Bone Thugs -n-Harmony, Floetry, Lyfe Jennings and Mario will also appear on the project, which is in support of the 25th Anniversary of the United Nations International Day of Peace.
