Authorities said three teenagers face charges after several cars were damaged on N.C. Highway 87.

The teenagers threw stones at the moving cars and were later identified by witnesses, according to investigators.

Gregory Kizziah Jr., 19, Derrick Pruitt, 16, and Marc Jacobs, 16, face misdemeanor charges are due in court Oct. 3.

Two victims who spoke with WXII 12 News estimated the damage to their cars at $1,000 or more.
