Dreaming of Michael
A fans dedication to Michael Jackson, a collection of poems and thoughts on the worlds most talented and Beautiful man!
Welcome...to my Michael Jackson fanpage, a page dedicated to the genius that is Michael Jackson!!! Michael has touched millions with his profound lyrics, beautiful voice and awesome dancing, every single pop artist wants the success Michael has. But success doesnâ??t come without hard work, something Michael knows all about. Michael has also had to endure all manner of scandalous lies and media intrusion, throughout his career. But without all the scandal, I donâ??t suppose he would have found the inspiration to write some of his best songs on the HIStory album. They effectively fueled his artistic drive. so I want to give something back to him, I wrote him a book and here are some of the extracts from it plus some cool links to other sites I have on the internet!
ANGEL MICHAEL
An angel is he, an angel I see, A celestial force he shall always beâ?¦The dictionaries definition of an angel is simple, The bible also has references to many angels doing good and bringing light into the lives of lost souls and straying beings! Just recently Angels have become popular as people claiming to have been touched by an angel, a dying relative has been seen with wings of golden light surrounding them, an aura! I believe in angels...do youâ?¦? I too have my own personal feelings on angels, I believe they are the guides and although the fantasy and magic associated with the heavens above is nice, I think angels take a more humanly form! I believe everyone of us has an angel just as everyone of us has a soul mate! I know who my soul mate is, she is a girl whom I can confide and trust in, she lives far away from me but our spirits are linked! I also know who my angel is, his name is Michael a godly influence on my life! He enlightens me and surrounds me in light everyday, not literally but virtually! Michael has been in my life for nearly 13 years and although my innocent mind did not realise it at first, he is my angel! He is alot of peoples angel and hero! He oozes Talent, Love, Warmth, Kindness and shares all of these things with the world! Only an angel can do such things, he is mysterious, which is a quality all angels must possess,people wish to know him, they cannot pin point a reason for him being so fabulous, they just feel his positive energy and consume it! Michael is an ANGEL for sure!
I JUST CAN"T STOP LOVING YOU
I canâ??t recall which Michael Jackson song I heard first, I was only 6 yrs old at the time. All I know is somehow I discovered the Bad album, which consequently led me to Off the wall and Thriller! I had a few Michael posters on my bedroom wall that my mum had found in some old pop magazines. I would watch Thriller and Moonwalker constantly, soaking up every move Michael made, I couldnâ??t get enough of his wonderful dancing! My most vivid early memories of my Michael love was watching smooth criminal over and over just wishing I was the little girl, Katie getting winked at by Michael. Wow that would be so great! I also used to watch the making of Thriller wishing I could dance as well as Michael. Iâ??m sure these memories are the same for every other young MJ fan. But at that age you think you are the only person in the world who could possibly love Michael so much! Because I knew Michael had alot of respect for his younger fans, it made it so much more wonderous, like he actually cared about us! Iâ??d see his picture in the paper with all these sick kids in hospitals and I just knew he was a good, warm person. I learnt at 7 or 8 never to believe the papers, I realized that they were out to paint a bad picture of Michael, I couldnâ??t understand why they wanted to make him out to be a bad person though, I hadnâ??t discovered the evils of money and greed yet. I was starting comprehensive school when Dangerous came out, a daunting prospect for any scared 11 Yr old, a new school, new friends, new teachers etc. But even at 11 you can take a lot of positive vibes out of a song, and I did that with Michaelâ??s songs, and Iâ??m still doing it now. My favourite song and video was Remember the time. I just loved the way he turned to dust at the end, with that cheeky grin beforehand. I also had a cassette with my favourite Michael Jackson songs on, taped over and over. I took a walkman to school and Iâ??d listen to Heal the world and Man in the mirror on the school bus, it never failed to put me in a great mood for the day! I went through a long period of being heavily into rock music, looking back now, I realise it was sheer rebellion, but Michael was always in my heart. For my mock GCSE exams I dyed my hair bright purple, I was into punk rock and heavy metal for quite a while, but I still listened to Mike! Through this time HIStory came out followed by Blood on the Dancefloor, was well and truly rekindled, never before had I heard such a wonderful collection of songs. At the time I thought it was his greatest work because it was about all the issues going on in his life, a kind of answer to all the media's intrusive questions. Iâ??ve always used writing as an escape mechanism, if I was annoyed about something, Iâ??d write a poem or a story. I thought it was great that Michael had done that too. Michael's songs helped me through my GCSEâ??s, it was a pretty turbulent time for me, I got very depressed and paranoid about all the course work. I had great fears of failure. I got bullied a little at school too, which didnâ??t help, it wasnâ??t severe, just enough to make me believe I was an ugly, horrid human being. When people are constantly calling you names you start to believe it. Michaelâ??s songs were always there, at the flick of a switch I could feel better about myself. I listened to keep the faith and will you be there a lot, they just send out such a great positive message. Well itâ??s the year 2000 now, and Iâ??m all grown up (physically anyway, :o] Iâ??m still a 6 yr old at heart) time to face up to my responsibilities, get a job etc! I feel like Iâ??m 11 yrs old again scared of the big bad world! But with a new Michael Jackson album on the way I couldnâ??t be happier! Does it have to change just because I got older? No, it doesnâ??t, Michaelâ??s songs are still there helping me through the bad times and seeing me through the good times. Basically thatâ??s what Michael means to me. I may not know him personally, but heâ??s always there for me, theres always a MJ song I can connect with! An MJ song canâ??t turn round to you and say â??not tonight Iâ??m to tired, can we talk about your problems laterâ? an MJ song will never let you down, it never fails to cheer you up. Perhaps Iâ??ve come to rely too heavily on the music as a positive uplift, but at least Iâ??m not taking drugs, or trying to find the answers at the bottom of a whisky bottle, Iâ??m not doing any harm to myself or my family by listening to music, Iâ??ve found something that makes me happy, and to Michael Iâ??d like to say I just canâ??t stop loving you!
