The Secret Sister: Chapter Three
(Elvie) Walking around town is pretty interesting to see. People and cars busy going everywhere on the streets and in the roads. The buildings and stores go great with the nice weather we normally have in California. It's pretty perfect. Looking around before turning into an ally way, I made sure no one was fallowing me, or someone was there to jump me, and walked over to the fence in the end of it. I moved one of the boards and stepped behind it, placing it back afterwards. When I did that, I was on my way to where I was going. I was so thankful I was small enough to fit through, it's just the butt part I had to squeeze through the tight spaces of the two buildings. Smiling once I reached the small basement window, I opened it and made my way right through the hole. Once inside the clustered basement, I closed the window back and looked around smiling. Okay...so maybe my secret place was a clustered up old basement under an old apartment house that hasn't been used since I was a baby. I grew up in this building actually, you know before my mom and dad were killed in a car wreck. That's how I moved in with my loving grandmother. Getting back to what I was doing; which is trying to find this letter I found; I just can't remember where I put it at the last time I was here. Where could it be? Shuffling around, moving item after item, I could hear someone coming in through the window. I ran quickly to hide behind a big, long mirror and hoped no one could see me. Since this building is really undown, it is actually scheuled to be torn down, so I made this my secret place until that time. Yet if anyone catches you anywhere inside, basement and all, they'll through you right out. No matter who you are. I closed my eyes as the window closed, and I could hear the clicking sound it made. "Elvie?" A familiar voice called out, causing a smile to form on my face. I came out from hiding, to see my friend Daniel standing there in the center of the basement. He turned to face me and smiled. "Oh, there you are now." I bite my lip, smiling and going over to hug him. I soon felt his arms wrapping around me. Daniel is a very well shaped guy. He is about eighteen, flawless skin(if you don't mind facial hair), a great smile and wonderful eyes that just captivates you. Okay, getting back to things now. Ending the hug, I started looking for the letter onnce more. The other thing I like about Daniel is that he understands me. He signs things to me or he he lets me write them out; I like that actually. He makes it to where I feel a bit normal. That's enough of Daniel, back to letter finding. I opened a drawer and just my luck, I'd find my letter I was looking for. Go figure. I picked it up and walked over to an old mattress and sat down on it, opened it and read the letter. I couldn't help smile as I did. Daniel came over and sat beside me. I placed the letter into his lap and signed out for him to read it. Nodding his head, he picked the paper up and began reading also. This is what he read: "Dearest Elvie, At the moment you are asleep inside your crib. Your tiny fist clentched together as they rest beside that adorable head of yours. I never thought I could love a person as much as I love you. Since the time you entered this world, took your first breathed and was then placed into my arms, I've loved you. You're mine and daddy's world. We will let no one harm you, I promise. We love you so much Elvie Rebecca-Marie Harrison. -Mama" "Elvie, this is your mother's letter to you?" Daniel asked me, smiling big. I answered him with a nod and went to find another one dad had wrote me. Daniel and I both sat inside the basement reading some letter and looking at some pictures here and there until it was time for both of us to go home. It was an actually peaceful day. _________________________________________________________________ Until the next time dears..
