Telling Christina Goodbye Chapter *1*

During the first week of classes after Christmas break,between
fourth and fith period at Mooresville Highschool,Trisha went looking for her freind Christina.She found her best freind in the bathroom crying.Her sobs were muffled and sounded like a kitten meowing,hardly the reflection of a broken heart,but Trisha
wasn't fooled.She'd heard Christina cry before.And it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why.  Tucker Hanson.

Trisha slipped into the unlocked stall where Christina was crying,her hands covering her face.Trisha unrolled a swath of toilet paper and handed it to her freind."Here,use this it's more
absorbent than your palms" Trisha said. Christina took the wad of paper without looking up.She wiped her eyes and blew her nose.
"H-how did you find me"? Christina questioned."When you didn't show up for lunch,i started checking the bathrooms.This was my 3rd stop".Trisha said."W-where are the others"? Christina questioned sobbing."Kim and Darby went to class and Cody's out in the hall waiting for us." Trisha said."Why couldn't i get a guy like Cody"? Christina asked.

"You mean instead of a jerk like Tucker? That's always been my question to you hasn't it" Trisha felt angry. "Tucker is the reason your crying isn't he"? Christina nodded. Trisha sighed.
"What did he do ths time"? Asked Trisha."We had a fight" Christina said getting up. "Over what"? Trisha asked.
"You don't have to talk to me like i'm a child" Christina said.
Christina stood shakily and edged past Trisha.Trisha followed.
"sorry but you've been fighting off and on with Tucker for years"
"Trish said" Christina bent over and splashed cold water on her face. "you just don't understand.Enlighten me" Christina said

They walked out the door and went to class.                    The whole class knew about Tucker and Christina's relationship.Tucker has been voted
most popular and Christina has been voted miss popular.Both homecoming King and Queen!!!!
