The Crush by: Raven
Hi everybody. My name is Raven, and in this 100% fantasized love story you will be blown away!... Hopefully I you'll like it. This is my first time writing. I was inspired by all the great stories the other authors wrote on this website, so here goes nothin! --------------------------------------------------- A few things you should know about the Setting of the story: Year: 1975 Place: Encino, CA School: West High My Age: 16 It's my first day of the 10th grade. Boy, did I have a great summer. Chillin everyday. Even though I hadn't seen too many of my friends that summer it was so relaxing. But, I couldn't wait to see my friends at school. *ring, ring, ri* I rolled over in my bed to turn off my alarm clock. I was so excited to go back to school, that I was awake a while before it even rang. I had my outfit together the night before to be fully organized making this a perfect day. *takes shower and gets dressed* Me: *looks in mirror* A beautiful first day outfit once again! :) In the kitchen... Mom: *rushing* I didn't make any breakfast this morning honey, because I'm running late, but we do have your favorite cereal! Me: It's OK mom. Thanks. *looking disappointed* Mom: Don't look so mad. Girl, you 16 you can make hot breakfast. Me: *laughs* *Mom leaves for work and I kiss and hug her goodbye* My mom rushed out the door leaving me alone. It was about 10 minutes before I had to walk to my bus stop, so I ate a bowl of cereal and made sure everything was in order. Me: *walks out the door mumbling to myself* Man, I wish mom had her old work hrs. I feel so alone sometimes... Dang, and on top of that I'm gonna be the only person at my bus stop this year! and I'm gonna be the only person on the bus for about a mile... I guess I really miss not having school. I'm I talking to myself?! At the bus stop... As I was walking to my stop I saw a guy standing there. He was obviously a student. He had a book bag on his back and he looked about my age. I guess he heard me walking up because he turned around. Startled, I quickly turned my head because I was staring. Then I looked up again to find that he was staring at me. Now I had a full view of his face and man he was fine! *Waiting for the bus* Me: Hey, are you waiting for the West High school bus? ???: Yeah, I assume a you are too? Me: *smiling* Yep. (why was I so nervous?!) ???: By the way, my name is Michael.*holds out hand for me shake* Me: Hi Michael, My name is Raven. *shakes hand* Michael: I'm glad your here. *smirks* Me: *Laughs nervously* What? Michael: I thought I was going to be the only person at this stop. But I'm glad a pretty girl like you is keeping me company.*smiles* He had thee most beautiful smile I'd EVER seen. It was almost like I'd gone into a trance. No, I mean I really did. I was staring at him for about 5 seconds with a silly grin on my face as he was waiting for me to reply to his smooth compliment. Michael: *waves hand in front of my face* Raven...? Me: *grinning nervously* Huh?, oh.. thanks *smiles*. You look nice too, ya know... for the first day and all. Is it your first day at the school? I don't remember ever seeing you. Michael: Yeah, I just moved here. Bus pulls up... I get on the bus first going all the way to the back like I always have only to see Michael follow along. On the ride there our small talk had turned into a full friend to friend conversation. After talking with him for what seemed like a few minutes I'd noticed the bus was completely full and the bus stopped. We were at school. Me: Well this is West High. *smiles* I'll show you around a little before the bell rings and introduce you to some of my friends. Michael: *smiles* sounds good. Just as I was getting off the bus I saw my best friend run towards me... FAST! Victoria: HEY!! how come you didn't call me during the summer!? *Playfully hits Me* Me: Sorry girl, I was having too much fun, but you didn't call me either... What were you doing? Victoria: *whispers in my ear while staring at Michael, who was standing next to me* Never mind what I did, who's the cute friend you just made? Me: *Whispering* Girl, be quiet... *pushes Michael up to introduce him to Victoria* This is Victoria, Victoria this is Michael. Michael: Hello After giving Michael a tour, and showing him how to handle everything, we compared schedules and we had a few classes together and lunch. *bell rings schools out* Victoria and I were walking to our lockers which were thankfully next to each other this year. Victoria: *staring at me* Me: What? Victoria: You know that Michael kid you introduced me to earlier? Me: Yeah, what about him? Vitoria: I think he likes you... Me: Really, you think so... I mean I think I like him. He's really kind, and oh my god his smile! I don't know, Me? Victoria: *smiling* Hell yeah! you introduced him to me and he was preoccupied with you. All he gave me was some cheap ass HELLO. What the hey man! Me: *laughs* He did, didn't he! Victoria: Yeah, so you should try to make him yours! Me: We'll see... To be continued... ---------------------- Man, this was kinda hard to write. It seems a little boring to me, but if you think the same don't forget it's just the intro! Don't forget to vote!
