A singer, a dancer, a poet, a writer,
There’s no other star that has ever shone brighter.
A very remarkable actor and painter,
And he is the biggest world entertainer.
A friend, a cousin, a son and a brother,
An uncle, a nephew, and a caring father.
He’s talented, generous, honest and active,
There are many traits that make him attractive.
His dancing involves and makes you (s)we(a)t to the skin.
Outside he’s a man, but he’s a panther within.
His moonwalk makes you feel chill down the spine.
His white socks, his hat, and his glove suit him fine.
He made the 'Jackson 5' a world-famous band,
Presidents were honored to shake his hand.
Invincible, Dangerous, Bad and 2bad,
The most famous person the world's ever had.
An all children’s friend, we can’t disagree:
A child is a person, and he must be free
From prejudice, pain, from AIDS and disasters,
From poverty, cruelty, slavery, masters.
His 'Dancing the Dream' is profound and wise.
He speaks from his heart and he never lies.
This glorious man is disturbed by the press.
It spreads around rumors making his life a mess.
Wherever he goes, whatever he does,
Paparazzi are there to kick up a fuss.
So close and unknown, so far and so near,
He lives on the stage. His thirty-year career
Is an example to all growing stars.
But people still count his surgery scars.
Do they have a right to judge by his look?
They have never read the truth in his book.
Does it really matter if he’s black or white?
He’s a sensitive man, and he’s wounded inside.
He has a heart, and it’s not made of stone,
So put off your claws and leave him alone!
Alone, but not lonely: he has many friends.
His life ain’t routine, it’s full of events:
Rehearsing, recording, composing, film-making,
Charity, business affaires and heartbreaking
He’s invited to weddings as a best man.
And he’s sure to hold dear every fan.
He’s known everywhere, from east to west,
It’s all Michael Jackson, and he is the best!
