Our King

There is this man, so pure of heart
He’s been so special from the start
He seems to radiate with this kindness
The most of us are proud to witness

He gives and gives and again he gives
But people taunt the way he lives
They call him a freak; they say he’s weird
It seems they want him to be feared

So many people think they’re sure
That this great man is monster
They say he’s not normal; he’s way to eccentric
They make him out to be a lunatic

This man has done so much good for us
And still these people make such a fuss
I don’t understand why they ignore
The way this man has made us soar

The papers, all they do is lie
Every time I see, it makes me want to cry
And yet he stays so very strong
Because he knows that they are wrong

The things they claim that he has done
I can’t understand where they get it from
It’s ridiculous nonsense, all of it
They try to tear him down, bit by bit

This man, he has such a beautiful soul
But hurting him seems to be their main goal
They have horrible thoughts of him in their minds
Why do they have to be so unkind?

He’s been beaten and bashed
By all this trash
They need to understand
That he’s not a bad man

He’s tried to help so many people
But much of them don’t seem to feel
Cause’ he’s been manipulated and deceived
He don’t deserve the pain he received

This man, he’s so kind and so giving and loving
And to witness these acts is so very moving
But so many people can’t see with their eyes
They’ve been overshadowed by too many lies

But on June 13th, we the fans, all gave a sigh
As he held his head up high
We all knew he wouldn’t fail
Because the truth always does prevail

So Michael, I say this to you
Forget them all
Let them fall
As you stand up tall

Lets remove the stain
As you reclaim your reign
And we’ll all sing
For you, our King
